The Welshpool Business Network aims to support the towns independent businesses, local sole traders, home workers, crafters, artisans, shop keepers, small to medium businesses and entrepreneurs. To forge strong connections within the community, providing invaluable opportunities for growth and collaboration among businesses and professionals.

It provides a platform for businesses of all sizes to support each other, share ideas, experiences and explore opportunities for mutual growth. We aim to strengthen the local business community and 'to give them a voice' with the Town Council.
Rotary was the original business network when four business men in Chicago in the US in 1908 worked together to enhance business and to give something back to the community.
Now we are partnering with the Welshpool Town Council and looking to create a Welshpool Business Network which will meet monthly with the aim to encourage and help veteran and others who are either running or setting up a business in the Welshpool area, supporting our small businesses in the high Street in these difficult times but also supporting and encouraging any local budding entrepreneurs.
While being part of Welshpool Rotaract, this new group will initially meet monthly with the aim of encouraging business people and professionals to meet and connect with like-minded people, making valuable connections, providing at the same time connecting to our community as an opportunity and outlet for what has become known as 'corporate responsibility'.
